Santa Claus takes on…

Saturday, November 29th, 2008

Here are a couple wacky videos just in time for the holiday season. The vids were each originally shot in Beta (or Betamax, as it was also known back in the day), back in the early 80’s by one of my older bros.

While I guess these could seem mean-spirited to some folks, you need to keep in mind that my brother was like 17 or 18 when he did this, and I was around 12. So for me, these were the funniest things in the world.

The videos used to have an Elvis Christmas classic playing in the background while Santa pummeled away, but I’ve updated them for the YouTube generation and have added my own tracks - Good King Wenceslaus, and Jolly Old Saint Nicholas. Both of these songs are from my newest CD, “A Very Merry Christmas”.
